Step into the wild with someone who knows its heartbeat.
Hi,
I’m Heinrich Neumeyer.
I am a FGASA certified safari guide and professional wildlife photographer with over 25 years of hands-on experience tracking Africa’s most iconic animals through its most legendary reserves; Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Kishindo Tiger Canyon and my home ground, Pilanesberg.
Born and raised in Rustenburg, South Africa, my journey began the day a leopard locked eyes with me on my 10th birthday, a moment that lit a lifelong fire. Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to exploring, capturing, and sharing the soul of the African bush.
Every safari I lead is infused with deep local knowledge, storytelling, and a photographer’s eye. Whether you're witnessing a lion’s roar echo across Kgalagadi’s red dunes, tracking leopards in Sabi Sands, or marvelling at elephants at a hidden Kruger waterhole, I’ll make sure your experience is intimate, unforgettable, and deeply authentic.
As the founder of the Pilanesberg Leopard Project, I’ve also made conservation a core part of my mission, using citizen science to protect these elusive cats and give back to the land that gives us so much.
My wildlife imagery, followed by over 21,000 people on Facebook, has been featured on Shutterstock, Fine Art America, and even in Pilanesberg’s 2016 highlight reel.
But what matters most is the experience I create for you: real moments, real connection, real Africa.
Join me for a safari that’s wild, raw, and unforgettable!
